We're a south-facing southern Wisconsin sunroom managing a current ADHD hyperfocus, gardening. We've always loved plants and gardening and only recently have we expanded that focus to include houseplants. Our sunroom temperature fluctuates from about 30° F to 100° F year-round. Keeping plants healthy and happy with these temperature fluctuations are difficult. Besides the sunroom, our house has only one south-facing window and from about mid-March through mid-October, the sun is too high in the sky and is blocked by the overhang that surrounds our house. This makes winters extremely difficult and stressful for our houseplants as the sunroom is too cold to keep plants in year round. Starting in late March, we move the plants out to the sunroom and supplement with a space heater/fans/window position when necessary to keep temperatures appropriate. These are our trials and tribulations. This site was create with a hope to subside the near overwhelming urge to continue to buy new plants. We're millenials who grew up in an era when "the internet" meant a computer. As such, we learned to code html in this era. As such, our site is designed to look best on a desktop, but we're doing our best to make it acceptable on mobile. Thanks for stopping by.
